SPOT-MAS kit

SPOT-MAS is an early screening test for the 5 most common cancers (Breast – Lung – Liver – Colorectal – Stomach) and 5 aggressive, uncommon cancer types without standard of care screening (ovarian, pancreatic, esophageal, uterine and biliary tract).

Technology Description

This screening method detects the presence of tumor DNA fragments (ctDNA) released into the blood based on fragments of cell-free DNA. These cell-free DNA fragments are extracted from the serum and then sequenced. The obtained data is pre-processed into four different ctDNA features: hotspot mutation, fragment length (FLEN), copy number alterations (CNA), and end motif (EM). The data is processed through a machine learning model and a convolutional neural network graph to classify the state and cancer types.
